The rules and responsibilities for using Match Flow as a coach, team owner, follower or supporter.
Agreement
These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using Match Flow. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using Match Flow.
About Match Flow
Match Flow is a football coaching and team-following app. It helps coaches create teams, plan matches, manage training sessions and custom team events, follow live match updates, record player availability, create reports, review statistics, import fixtures and league information, plan tournaments, run award votes, create match and player graphics, share relevant updates with linked followers, and provide private team calendar subscriptions.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for making sure the information you provide is accurate. Match Flow permits one active device session per account. Signing in on another device may end the previous session, and you may need to sign in again to complete that change securely. If you manage a team, you are responsible for deciding who should have coach, owner, or follower access to that team. You should remove access when it is no longer appropriate. Non-owner coaches and followers can leave a team themselves. An owner must delete the team or arrange an ownership transfer before leaving or deleting their account.
Coach and team responsibilities
Match Flow may be used for youth football teams. Coaches, team owners, and administrators must only add player, team, availability, injury, match, training, custom event, voting and player-photo information that they have permission to manage and share. Do not add unnecessary sensitive information. Injury and availability notes should be limited to what is genuinely needed for team planning and matchday management. If you enable team communications or calendar sharing, you are responsible for making sure recipients should receive those updates and that the event information you enter is accurate. You should not use Match Flow to send or expose team information to people who should no longer have access.
Follower accounts
Follower accounts are intended for people linked to a team, such as parents, guardians, players, or supporters invited by the team. Followers must only use team information for the purpose it was shared with them and must not misuse, copy, or redistribute private team information.
Coach Premium subscriptions and trials
Follower mode is free. New eligible coach accounts receive one app-managed 30-day Coach Premium trial. The trial does not create a store subscription and does not automatically charge you when it ends. Trial eligibility is tied to the Match Flow account and cannot be reset by changing account mode, reinstalling the app, creating team invitations, or restoring another account's purchase. Coach Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play at the price displayed by the store before confirmation. Store billing starts immediately when you subscribe, even if time remains on the app-managed trial. The subscription renews monthly unless you cancel through the relevant store. Cancelling stops future renewal but access continues through the paid expiry recorded by the store. Purchases are attached to the original Match Flow account used at purchase and are not transferable to another Match Flow account. Restore Purchases restores only an eligible purchase belonging to that original account. Eligible pre-public-release tester accounts may receive non-transferable lifetime Coach Premium access. Match Flow may verify subscription status through the store and RevenueCat. A short courtesy cutoff and offline grace may preserve access after a temporary billing or network issue; they do not extend the paid subscription or interrupt an active match already in progress. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights and the store's payment terms continue to apply.
Content you add
You remain responsible for the teams, players, match plans, training sessions, team calendar events, comments, important information, reports, awards, voting choices, logos, player photos, avatars, graphics and other content you add to Match Flow. You must not upload anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, or anything you do not have the right to use. By adding content, you give Match Flow permission to store, process, display, sync, render into requested graphics and send it where needed so the app can provide its features.
Photos and shared graphics
You must have the rights and appropriate permissions to upload player photos, use logos and create or share graphics containing someone else's information. For children's images, obtain parent or guardian permission where required and follow your team's safeguarding and image-sharing rules. Check the names, photos, results and audience before sharing. Exported graphics may be copied or reshared outside Match Flow; changing visibility or deleting content in the app cannot recall those copies. Reveal a season award only when you are ready for linked followers to see it, and remember that separately exporting or sharing a graphic can disclose its result outside the app.
Imported fixtures, leagues and tournaments
FA Full-Time and Tournify imports use publicly available third-party information. Importing is optional and does not make Match Flow an official record or a service endorsed by those providers. You should review imported fixtures and refresh results, and verify important times, venues, opponents, pitches and competition details with the organiser before relying on them. Information may be incomplete, stale or changed by its source. Access and refreshes can be delayed or unavailable if a provider changes its site or service. You remain responsible for selecting the correct league, competition and team, complying with the source provider's applicable terms, and making manual corrections where needed. Match Flow does not require you to supply those providers' private account credentials.
Award votes and results
Voting is subject to the eligibility, candidate options and deadline shown in the app. For linked-player ballots, parents share one ballot per player: the first parent to submit owns it and may change it while voting is open; another parent linked to that player can view the saved choices but cannot replace the ballot. A parent linked to more than one player can submit a separate eligible ballot for each player. Followers cannot choose their own linked players as candidates in new parent votes. Coaches can see named ballots and outstanding voters even for anonymous polls. Anonymous settings protect totals and other families' choices from followers, not from coaches or a parent viewing the same linked-player ballot. Season results remain hidden from followers until a coach reveals them; Parents POTM results appear when voting concludes. A completed but unrevealed season vote remains visible as closed. Coaches are responsible for the candidate selection, deadline and timing of a season-result reveal. Historical votes may retain the voting rules under which they were created.
Live match updates and statistics
Live match events, scores, player statistics, availability records, and reports depend on information entered by users. Match Flow is a coaching and team-management tool, not an official match record. You should check important information before relying on it outside the app.
AI-assisted report text
Match Flow may help draft or improve match report text when requested. AI-generated text can contain mistakes or phrasing you may not want to use. Coaches should review and edit any generated text before sharing, saving, or publishing it.
Notifications
If push alerts are enabled, Match Flow may send notifications about teams, match plans, availability, live matches, reports, comments, access changes, and sync or conflict alerts depending on your preferences and role. Delivery can depend on device settings, network availability, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and other service providers, so notification delivery is not guaranteed.
Email and WhatsApp communications
If email or WhatsApp communications are enabled by a team and by your own preferences, Match Flow may send team communications about matches, tournaments, training, availability, short-notice availability changes, award-voting requests and reminders, cancellations, and event changes. These messages may include team names, opponent names, dates, times, venues, important information, linked player names, award names and voting deadlines. Automatic availability and voting reminders target outstanding responses where supported. The available channels vary by message type and communication preferences. Email and WhatsApp delivery relies on third-party services and is not guaranteed. Message timing can be affected by network conditions, provider limits, user settings, spam filtering, WhatsApp availability, and incorrect contact details. Where supported, email links, WhatsApp buttons, or WhatsApp replies may update availability in Match Flow, and secure voting links may allow an eligible ballot to be submitted. Keep personal availability and voting links private. You are responsible for checking that your availability response is correct, especially if you manage more than one linked player. You are responsible for keeping your additional email address and mobile number accurate. Your mobile provider, internet provider, or WhatsApp may apply their own charges, terms, and privacy rules. Match Flow communications are for team planning only. They should not be used for emergency, safeguarding, medical, or safety-critical communications.
Private calendar subscriptions
A private team calendar link may expose fixture, training, and custom event information to anyone who has the link. Treat the link like a password and share it only with authorised people. You are responsible for the calendar app or provider you connect and for its terms and privacy practices. Revoking a link stops future retrieval from Match Flow but cannot erase data already downloaded, copied, or cached by another provider or person. Calendar feeds may refresh with delay and must not be relied on for emergency, safeguarding, medical, or safety-critical information.
Acceptable use
You must not use Match Flow to harass others, share offensive content, access teams without permission, interfere with the app or its services, attempt to bypass security controls, or use the app in a way that could harm Match Flow, other users, or service providers.
Service availability
We aim to keep Match Flow available and working well, but the app may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, updates, bugs, network issues, platform changes, or third-party service outages. Features may change over time as the app improves.
Required updates
Match Flow may require a minimum app version or build where an update is needed for security, compatibility, data integrity, store requirements, or important service changes. If your installed version is below that minimum, access may be blocked until you install the newer version from the relevant app store. You are responsible for using a supported device and keeping its operating system and Match Flow installation reasonably up to date.
App stores and third-party services
If you download Match Flow through an app store, that store's terms may also apply. Match Flow also relies on trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, subscriptions, push notifications, email delivery, WhatsApp delivery, external fixture and tournament information, venue search, calendar subscriptions, Android tester registration, and AI-assisted report features. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy rules.
Android testing programme
Participation in the Android closed test is voluntary and does not guarantee selection, continued access, lifetime access, payment, or production release. Applicants must provide their own name and the Google Play email address to be added to the tester list and must not submit another person's details without permission. Test versions may contain defects or change without notice. Testers should protect private team information and send feedback through the routes Match Flow provides.
Intellectual property
Match Flow, including its design, branding, app code, and original materials, belongs to Match Flow or its licensors. You may use the app for its intended purpose, but you must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except where allowed by law or app store terms.
No warranty
Match Flow is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every team or situation. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Match Flow is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of data, missed notifications, missed email or WhatsApp messages, incorrect user-entered information, unavailable services, provider delays, or decisions made based on information entered into the app. You remain responsible for checking information that matters to your team.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Match Flow develops or legal, platform, or service requirements change. The latest version will be shown in the app and on the Match Flow website once published.
