The rules and responsibilities for using Match Flow as a coach, team owner, follower or supporter.
Agreement
These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using Match Flow. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using Match Flow.
About Match Flow
Match Flow is a football coaching and team-following app. It helps coaches create teams, plan matches, manage training sessions, follow live match updates, record player availability, create reports, review statistics, and share relevant updates with linked followers.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for making sure the information you provide is accurate. If you manage a team, you are responsible for deciding who should have coach, owner, or follower access to that team. You should remove access when it is no longer appropriate. Non-owner coaches and followers can leave a team themselves. An owner must delete the team or arrange an ownership transfer before leaving or deleting their account.
Coach and team responsibilities
Match Flow may be used for youth football teams. Coaches, team owners, and administrators must only add player, team, availability, injury, and match information that they have permission to manage and share. Do not add unnecessary sensitive information. Injury and availability notes should be limited to what is genuinely needed for team planning and matchday management. If you enable team communications, you are responsible for making sure the recipients should receive those updates and that the event information you enter is accurate. You should not use Match Flow to send messages to people who should no longer have access to team information.
Follower accounts
Follower accounts are intended for people linked to a team, such as parents, guardians, players, or supporters invited by the team. Followers must only use team information for the purpose it was shared with them and must not misuse, copy, or redistribute private team information.
Coach Premium subscriptions and trials
Follower mode is free. New eligible coach accounts receive one app-managed 30-day Coach Premium trial. The trial does not create a store subscription and does not automatically charge you when it ends. Trial eligibility is tied to the Match Flow account and cannot be reset by changing account mode, reinstalling the app, creating team invitations, or restoring another account's purchase. Coach Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play at the price displayed by the store before confirmation. Store billing starts immediately when you subscribe, even if time remains on the app-managed trial. The subscription renews monthly unless you cancel through the relevant store. Cancelling stops future renewal but access continues through the paid expiry recorded by the store. Purchases are attached to the original Match Flow account used at purchase and are not transferable to another Match Flow account. Restore Purchases restores only an eligible purchase belonging to that original account. Eligible pre-public-release tester accounts may receive non-transferable lifetime Coach Premium access. Match Flow may verify subscription status through the store and RevenueCat. A short courtesy cutoff and offline grace may preserve access after a temporary billing or network issue; they do not extend the paid subscription or interrupt an active match already in progress. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights and the store's payment terms continue to apply.
Content you add
You remain responsible for the teams, players, match plans, training sessions, comments, important information, reports, logos, images, and other content you add to Match Flow. You must not upload anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, or anything you do not have the right to use. By adding content, you give Match Flow permission to store, process, display, sync, and send it where needed so the app can provide its features.
Live match updates and statistics
Live match events, scores, player statistics, availability records, and reports depend on information entered by users. Match Flow is a coaching and team-management tool, not an official match record. You should check important information before relying on it outside the app.
AI-assisted report text
Match Flow may help draft or improve match report text when requested. AI-generated text can contain mistakes or phrasing you may not want to use. Coaches should review and edit any generated text before sharing, saving, or publishing it.
Notifications
If push alerts are enabled, Match Flow may send notifications about teams, match plans, availability, live matches, reports, comments, access changes, and sync or conflict alerts depending on your preferences and role. Delivery can depend on device settings, network availability, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and other service providers, so notification delivery is not guaranteed.
Email and WhatsApp communications
If email or WhatsApp communications are enabled by a team and by your own preferences, Match Flow may send team communications about matches, training, availability, reminders, cancellations, and event changes. These messages may include team names, opponent names, dates, times, venues, important information, and linked player names. Email and WhatsApp delivery relies on third-party services and is not guaranteed. Message timing can be affected by network conditions, provider limits, user settings, spam filtering, WhatsApp availability, and incorrect contact details. Where supported, email links, WhatsApp buttons, or WhatsApp replies may update availability in Match Flow. You are responsible for checking that your availability response is correct, especially if you manage more than one linked player. You are responsible for keeping your additional email address and mobile number accurate. Your mobile provider, internet provider, or WhatsApp may apply their own charges, terms, and privacy rules. Match Flow communications are for team planning only. They should not be used for emergency, safeguarding, medical, or safety-critical communications.
Acceptable use
You must not use Match Flow to harass others, share offensive content, access teams without permission, interfere with the app or its services, attempt to bypass security controls, or use the app in a way that could harm Match Flow, other users, or service providers.
Service availability
We aim to keep Match Flow available and working well, but the app may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, updates, bugs, network issues, platform changes, or third-party service outages. Features may change over time as the app improves.
App stores and third-party services
If you download Match Flow through an app store, that store's terms may also apply. Match Flow also relies on trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, push notifications, email delivery, WhatsApp delivery, venue search, and AI-assisted report features.
Intellectual property
Match Flow, including its design, branding, app code, and original materials, belongs to Match Flow or its licensors. You may use the app for its intended purpose, but you must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except where allowed by law or app store terms.
No warranty
Match Flow is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every team or situation. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Match Flow is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of data, missed notifications, missed email or WhatsApp messages, incorrect user-entered information, unavailable services, provider delays, or decisions made based on information entered into the app. You remain responsible for checking information that matters to your team.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Match Flow develops or legal, platform, or service requirements change. The latest version will be shown in the app and on the Match Flow website once published.
